About the position

The Marketing Director has strategic and operational responsibility for marketing program areas. The position drives the marketing strategy for the organization. Responsible for deep knowledge of each project, program operations, and business plans, and provides leadership and management, external relationships, and knowledge management. Utilize best practices in marketing, advertising, branding to positively impact the sales and profitability of YESCO.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build company brands, lead to increased awareness, business development, relevance and respect among our target audience
  • Manages marketing, market intelligence and marketing strategy
  • Oversees sales and marketing best practices (YouTube, Cases)
  • Develops, implements and monitors customer feedback mechanisms
  • Develops, implements and maintains branding, policy manuals and graphic standards
  • Manages advertising
  • Coordinates public relations opportunities with Jeff Young
  • Lends support and high-level coordination with the franchise operation including the anticipated marketing fund
  • Manage vendor relationships pertinent to YESCO's marketing efforts
  • Evaluate and identify potential strategic market segments that YESCO should target
  • Own and manage the P&L for YESCO's E-commerce business
  • Build strong relationships with affiliate networks
  • Lead and manage a team for YESCO E-Commerce
  • Manage and report on website performance and customer experience metrics
  • Optimize website operations
  • Plan product offering, pages, content updates, and features on the website
  • Plan and manage a marketing calendar
  • Performs other functions as necessary or assigned

Requirements

  • A Master's degree preferred; a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area
  • Five plus years of progressively responsible sales and marketing experience
  • Experience developing high level marketing and brand strategy in line with the strategic vision of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to develop and implement traditional and innovative marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of creating campaigns and initiatives that will drive and increase sales and revenue
  • Ability to stay ahead of the curve with marketing opportunities and initiatives to increase revenue
  • Ability to manage and improve sales and marketing related projects and processes
  • Ability to effectively manage advertising and public relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create and give presentations in front of employees and people from outside the organization
  • Well-developed and highly effective listening, oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and project planning software
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
  • Integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed with demonstrated passion for YESCO's mission and commitment to working collaboratively with a management team
  • Ability to travel as required
