About the position

The Director, Product Marketing will lead the end-to-end product marketing strategy for our flagship YouScience Brightpath platform. You’ll own market understanding, competitive positioning, go-to-market (GTM) execution, and sales enablement—ensuring our life-changing products reach more students, educators and adults delivering measurable impact in their lives. This is a high-visibility role for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing. You’ll collaborate with Product Management, Revenue, and Marketing teams to craft compelling narratives, drive adoption, and ensure our solutions are positioned for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead GTM strategy: Partner with Product and Revenue teams to develop and execute launch plans, campaigns, and enablement that accelerate product adoption and market share.
  • Own product positioning: Ensure our products resonate with the right audiences, highlighting clear value propositions across buyer personas and lifecycle stages.
  • Drive storytelling: Translate product features and benefits into compelling stories, case studies, and use cases that connect with customer needs.
  • Activate customer research and voice-of-customer programs: Manage the Customer Advisory Board, Win/Loss analysis, and influencer briefing.
  • Enable the sales team: Deliver persona-based training, messaging guides, and competitive intel to help sellers engage prospects with confidence.
  • Lead competitive analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor moves, refining our differentiation strategy.
  • Influence product strategy: Provide market insights, customer feedback, and pricing/packaging recommendations to guide roadmap decisions.
  • Establish best practices: Build the product marketing discipline at YouScience, creating scalable frameworks and repeatable processes for future growth.
  • Manage product launches: Own the rhythm of business for communicating product feature updates and launches.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years in Product Marketing for SaaS, software, or technology products.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption, usage, and measurable impact for owned products.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with GTM strategy development and execution.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence without authority.
  • Strong analytical skills to guide decisions based on data and market insights.
  • Comfort with operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Education technology marketing experience is a plus.
