The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for ensuring assigned surgical centers and initiatives are operated within performance and regulatory objectives. This role involves providing training and coaching to Clinical Managers on key job responsibilities while fostering strong working relationships built on ongoing communication and trust. The Director will travel and perform onsite visits to assigned surgical centers for the purpose of training, evaluation, and implementation as needed. Additionally, this position ensures all surgical centers in a designated geography, current and future, have the proper licenses and accreditations in a timely manner. The Director collaborates with our Compliance Specialist to drive adherence to compliance requirements in accordance with state and AAAASF regulations, sets up accounts with local vendors (i.e., cleaning, biomedical waste removal), and manages employee retention to keep team members motivated and drive employee engagement.

  • Strong leadership skills including change management and employee engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of driving operational excellence and excellent customer service.
  • Excellent team player with thought leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or healthcare related preferred.
  • 3+ years practice management experience in a management level position.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment including clinic operations, financial management, quality management, and risk management in a medium size medical facility.
