Symphony Park, a prestigious Independent Living Resort, is looking for a diligent and dependable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, supporting our commitment to providing high-quality dining experiences in our resort's restaurants. Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure dishes, glassware, and silverware are cleaned and sanitized properly.
• Hand-wash items as needed, including pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sinks and countertops.
• Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks, such as sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash and recycling.
• Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety standards, including proper storage of cleaning supplies.
• Support the kitchen with various tasks not specific to dishwashing responsibilities.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Work collaboratively with other Food and Beverage employees to ensure smooth operations.
• Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
• Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, and annual training.
• Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dishwashing role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical condition and stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy equipment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
