About the position

The Doctor's Technician at Stanton Optical plays a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience by serving as the first point of contact in the store. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, facilitating sales, and ensuring a seamless transition between the clinical and retail teams. The technician will engage with patients, assist with various tests, and support the management team in resolving patient concerns, all while upholding the company's commitment to quality eye care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and identify their needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Answer customer inquiries and gather necessary information to facilitate sales.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter new patient history, and complete pre-tests.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and ensure all patient expectations are met.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to ensure brand standards are maintained.
• Execute simple customer repairs and assemble lenses into frames to expedite delivery of eyeglasses.
• Ensure compliance with delivery time commitments to patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service.
• Effective communication skills with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening and rapport-building skills with patients.
• Proactive problem-solving skills to address patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to build respectful relationships with team and patients.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs.
