About the position

Join Our Employee-Owned Company! The E-commerce Sales & Service Professional assists the Web Team by exceeding sales expectations of the Day’s Jewelers website and becomes the primary point of contact for all order-related objectives, including fulfillment, shipment, special orders, repairs, and answering any customer questions as it relates to their orders, and ensures prompt, accurate and efficient responses to customer inquiries across multiple communication methods.

Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive, professional assistance to customers via email, chat, and phone. Address inquiries related to product information, order status, returns, and general concerns.
  • Help customers find the perfect jewelry pieces by offering personalized recommendations and information. Source and complete special orders, including custom pieces, to fulfill customer desires.
  • Process orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. Collaborate with our Day’s stores and Inventory teams to ensure prompt, correct delivery. Address inventory issues as necessary.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings, promotions, and policies to effectively assist customers and provide valuable information.
  • Take charge of maintaining product appearance and the Website SKU Addition Sheet, making products live, and participating in regular site audits to ensure all site presentations are accurate and visually appealing.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a retail customer service-related role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, commerce, digital business, or other related field of study.
  • Jewelry retail experience.
  • Jewelry certifications: JA, DCA, and/or GIA certifications.
