MOBIS Technical Center of North America is the Research & Development Center for Hyundai MOBIS, a Tier 1 supplier and an affiliate under Hyundai Motor Group. MOBIS produces and supplies a wide variety of automotive components to customers including component modules (chassis, cockpit and front-end module), core system, eco-friendly and DAS-mechatronics. Mobis delivers the design and development of advanced engineering, autonomous driving, infotainment, component modules, safety, brake and steering systems, lamp, ICS/electronics and software development solutions that consider the safety and convenience of our customers as well as the future.

  • Develop and implement embedded C software for MDPS real-time control systems.
  • Design and integrate AUTOSAR-based Software Components (SWCs), focusing on RTE communication and configuration.
  • Create and maintain CANape-based tools and files (dbc, ASAP, GUIs) for testing and tuning.
  • Conduct software testing including simulation, on-target (ECU, HiL/SiL), and in-vehicle validation.
  • Lead OEM customer interactions for software-related requirements and issue resolution.
  • Support development of control logic applications for local engineering teams.
  • Serve as primary software liaison to headquarters in South Korea for project planning, issue resolution, and outsourcing coordination.
  • Assist in software architecture design, optimization, and documentation.
  • Plan and execute verification and validation (V&V) activities.
  • Manage requirements and specifications throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work collaboratively with internal engineering teams and external customers.
  • Coach and mentor team members to strengthen local software development capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to improve overall system performance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on programming experience in embedded systems.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ for real-time automotive applications.
  • Experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer) and CAN/CAN-FD protocols.
  • Excellent debugging and documentation skills.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion or Integrity.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for issue tracking and collaboration.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-facing skills.
  • Experience ARM based SoC or microprocessor embedded system programming.
  • Experience in AUTOSAR platform (Vector or ETAS) on ARM based SoC.
  • Experience with automotive cybersecurity (HSM) concepts, processes, and methods.
  • Experience and understanding of basics display interface (MIPI, DP, HDMI, LVDS etc).
  • Experience in Understanding of Functional Safety methodologies and challenges.
  • Experience developing AUTOSAR platforms for North American OEMs.
  • Experience with SDV vehicle architecture is a plus.
  • Flexible working hours with a typical day starting 7am-9am M-F.
  • Occasional international travel.
  • Frequent local travel.
