About the position

The Engineering Technician III position at AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) involves supporting engineering and testing of military hardware. The role requires a combination of technical skills, safety compliance, and teamwork to ensure successful project execution. The technician will work closely with Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams to meet customer requirements and maintain high standards in testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing test processes of military assets including systems and components according to customer requirements.
• Follow all Standing Operating Procedures (SOP), work procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with teammates to establish best practices and workplace organization.
• Assist in the design, procurement, installation, and integration of custom manufacturing and test components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and support fabrication, assembly, and prototyping of one-off items.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware, or two years of college/vocational/military/technical school and three years of applicable experience.
• At least four years of experience must include successful completion of one year of vocational/military/technical school training in practical or industrial arts.
• Minimum of two years of mechanical fabrication and structural/fixture setup experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to acquire a security clearance.
• Valid driver's license and flexibility to work overtime.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and obtain Group II Level Explosive Certification.

Nice-to-haves
