Responsibilities

• Bid and manage multiple jobs concurrently.
• Estimate pricing, crew production, and scheduling.
• Visit project sites weekly to monitor progress and update schedules.
• Manage profit/loss of projects through weekly cost reviews.
• Ensure all safety practices are followed throughout construction.
• Create and update project schedules.
• Review job costs and work with field personnel to build projects.
• Manage and price change orders and oversee subcontractors and vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Five+ years of construction estimating experience preferred or equivalent education and experience accepted.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret data.
• Proficient in typing and using database software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the asphalt paving industry.
