About the position

The ETL Informatica Lead is responsible for leading application development projects focused on ETL processes and Informatica tools. This role requires a deep understanding of business needs and software functionality, facilitating requirements gathering sessions, and leading user-centered design analysis activities. The position involves developing comprehensive requirements documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead application development projects focused on ETL and Informatica.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and meetings with business SMEs.
  • Conduct user-centered design analysis activities including conceptual design, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Develop requirements documentation including user stories, process flows, mock-ups, and data flows.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify achievable project goals.
  • Participate in the development and planning of testing activities including reviewing test scenarios and scripts.
  • Manage project requirement planning and contribute to project success.
  • Adopt a logical approach to problem resolution and articulate problems and solutions clearly.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in application development projects using ETL and Informatica.
  • Proven track record of creating clear and concise deliverables that reflect business needs.
  • Experience in leading requirement teams for development projects.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in Dimensional Modeling, Data Migration, Data Cleansing, and Data Staging for data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with standard project and business/requirement tools including RRC, RTC, MS Office, and SharePoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with IICS concepts relating to data integration and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, Flat Files, XML files, and Mainframes.
  • Experience with Salesforce Objects and unstructured data files.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like Control-M and Informatica Scheduler.
  • Skill in SAP Config/Workflow/Reporting/Groovy Script development.
