Events play a crucial role in StoneX Group Inc.'s overall branding and marketing strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Event Marketing & Promotions, the Event Marketing Project Manager will help build out our project management team to oversee the flow of work, help ensure projects stay on schedule, manage deadlines, and facilitate communications within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in kick-off calls
  • Create event timelines and facilitate communication between the global events team, event marketing, and central marketing groups for coordinating resources
  • Assign work in Jira to the event marketing team
  • Manage the workflow of projects, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or roadblocks that may hinder project progress
  • Assist Global Events Team Members, as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree and work experience
  • 3+ years' experience in a project management role
  • The ability to manage workloads and prioritize requests to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and with minimal direction
  • Robust attention to the details
  • Technology savvy
  • Ability to utilize computer software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel on-site for events, as needed (1-2 events per year)

Nice-to-haves

  • Jira or other project management platform experience
  • Fluent in Spanish
