Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade, including manual and powered industrial trucks.
• Enforce 5S, 7 wastes, and other lean principles in the team/area.
• Conduct cycle counts as needed.
• Accommodate requests of Busway and Fabrication personnel.
• Perform other work as directed by supervision.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of sit down and stand up industrial trucks.
• Understanding of assembly/fabrication/process operations in the area.
• Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Physical ability to reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material.
• Ability to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb.
