About the position

The Financial Aid Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive financial aid experience for students at CHCP. This position involves developing, negotiating, and finalizing financial aid plans in compliance with various regulations, while also providing counseling to students regarding their financial aid options and planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and finalize student financial aid plans in accordance with regulations.
• Counsel students about available financial aid based on their acceptance at the School.
• Assist students with matters relevant to financial aid planning and packaging.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting Title IV funding.
• Basic knowledge of CampusVue database (preferred).
• Previous experience with student financial aid programs preferred.
• At least two years' experience working in a post-secondary institution.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CampusVue database.
