About the position

The Food & Beverage Coordinator at Montage International plays a crucial role in supporting the Food & Beverage leadership team by providing administrative assistance and contributing to the overall goals and values of the organization. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and are committed to creating a welcoming environment for both guests and associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership team in creating, implementing, and executing department trainings, menu training, and innovative pre-shift programs.
• Assist in managing associate engagement, scheduling, payroll, counseling, and quarterly department meetings.
• Create a welcoming environment for guests and associates.
• Receive initial inquiries, provide preliminary outlet information, and forward to manager for appointments or follow-up.
• Answer questions and concerns; follow through either to resolution or refer to the appropriate manager.
• Process and manage ordering system for the department.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative assistant role.
• Minimum 2-3 years of customer service experience in a hotel, events, or restaurant environment.
• Working knowledge of Spirits, Wine, and Dining.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to accurately handle billing.
• Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write, and understand English eloquently.
• Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; daily use of nearly all programs will occur.

Nice-to-haves

• Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Delphi experience.
