About the position

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. This includes managing culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service operations while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards, and meeting financial goals. The role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage laws and regulations, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective business plans.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction plans for Food and Beverage departments.
• Maintains a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations.
• Manages the Food and Beverage departments, supervising and managing employees.
• Oversees all culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service operations.
• Provides excellent customer service and responds proactively to guest concerns.
• Sets service expectations for all guests and ensures they are met or exceeded.
• Conducts performance reviews and promotes fair treatment and open door policies.
• Identifies developmental needs of team members and provides coaching and mentoring.
• Drives effective departmental communication and information systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
• OR a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
