About the position

The Forklift site Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers and golf carts. Responsibilities

  • Maintain industrial mobile equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis.
  • Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
  • Perform audits on equipment per the PM Planning tools schedule.
  • Provide information to supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
  • Complete all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
  • Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.
  • Complete all work in a safe manner and adhere to safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong equipment repair, mechanical and/or electrical skills.
  • Proven experience in electric Forklift Repair; primary focus on electric trucks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to multiple sites.
  • Hydraulics and conveyor experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage time and attendance.
  • Strong communication skills to support work order documentation and customer interaction.
  • Some computer skills; familiar with using a computer.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, crouch and/or be able to move in confined areas.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of a Service Technician.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • A valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
