This senior-level position, the Lead Full Stack Software Engineer (Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst – C13), drives the development of high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The role spans the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing design, implementation, and rigorous testing based on comprehensive user requirements. We are actively seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Lead Software Engineer with a profound understanding of Java and its diverse ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in architecting and delivering robust, scalable, and enterprise-grade applications. This role offers the opportunity to join a talented software team dedicated to working on mission-critical applications. As a Full Stack Lead Software Engineer, your core responsibilities will involve translating user requirements into actionable technical specifications. You will lead a development team through the entire process of designing, implementing, and delivering Java/Python applications. This includes providing expert guidance throughout the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept and detailed design to comprehensive testing. Furthermore, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with business users to meticulously design and implement both current and target state business processes, leveraging a variety of advanced tools and technologies.

  • Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
  • Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • 6+ years of industry experience, with a strong hands-on experience in the hands-on development of mission-critical applications using Java technologies, aligning each project with the firm's strategic objectives, and overseeing team operations to ensure project success
  • Experience with complex system integration projects
  • Hands on experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, J2EE Design Patterns, and REST services
  • Front End Technologies like JavaScript and Angular version, CSS2/CSS3, HTML
  • Strong Knowledge of SQL, JDBC, Unix commands
  • Hands-on Database experience in relational (Oracle/DB2) and No-SQL (MongoDB)
  • Hands-on experience on working / deploying application on Cloud
  • Hands-on experience in code testing tools like Junit / Mockito / Cucumber
  • Deployment Acquaintance in Apache Tomcat, Open Shift or other cloud environments is an advantage
  • Expertise in Test driven development (Junit, JMeter), Continuous Integration (Jenkins), Build tool (Maven) and Version Control (Git), Development tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well independently
  • Experience working with business analysts, database administrators, project managers and technical architects in multiple geographical areas
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is added advantage
