About the position

The Full Stack Software Development Tech Lead at LPL Financial will play a crucial role in the Technology organization, focusing on delivering innovative Banking and Lending solutions. This position involves collaborating with key stakeholders to create integrated capabilities for investor-facing platforms, fostering engineering excellence, and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team's development efforts towards successful project delivery and application support.
• Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions based on premise and on AWS in a Containerized Microservices Architecture.
• Provide technical leadership through design, code reviews, and implementation of best practices.
• Collaborate with other Development teams, Enterprise Architecture, and Support teams to maintain various platforms and their integration.
• Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining platform road map.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical groups regularly as part of product/project support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a Lead capacity, guiding the team's development efforts.
• 7+ years of experience in hands-on design and implementation of complex systems.
• 5+ years' experience with AWS serverless application architecture in .Net, Angular, Java Script, and SQL & No-SQL databases.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS end-to-end cloud development, deployment, and fine-tuning for scalability and performance.

Nice-to-haves

• Object Oriented Programming and design experience.
• Experience using modern application/API containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx).
• Experience in the financial industry, particularly in wealth & asset management organization.
• Reporting and Data experience.
• Experience with Python (Pyspark, Numpy, Scipy, AWSGlue) and SQL.
