About the position

Health Advocates Network is seeking an Entry Level Recruiter to join their team in West Covina, CA. This full-time, permanent position involves working directly in the office and focuses on full cycle recruiting for various positions within the healthcare and administrative sectors. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates, managing correspondence, and maintaining applicant tracking systems, among other duties.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle recruiting of hourly and salaried positions
• Prompt telephone and email correspondence
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Source and attract candidates using databases and social media
• Screen candidates' resumes and job applications
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• High volume telephone coverage
• Email correspondence, faxing, scanning, and filing
• Dealing with confidential information
• Mining through online sources for candidates in JobDiva
• Data entry
• Respond to all employee inquiries and clients
• Maintain and update information in the applicant tracking system
• Prepare candidate files for management
• Sort and screen applicants, verify application documents submitted
• Work closely with clients to meet hiring needs

Requirements

• Must have one year (12 months) working experience in customer service/support or sales
• Must have one year (12 months) working experience in an office setting/environment
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer support/sales skills
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
• Experience using online cloud devices such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
• Impeccable customer service (email and phone) and time management skills
• Great attendance record
