Fully Remote Software Engineer

About the position

Actalent is hiring a remote software engineer for an Aerospace/DoD company located around Syracuse, NY. This position offers full-time benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, overtime pay, and flexibility with scheduling. The current work schedule is 4/10s (every Friday off).

Responsibilities

• Support development of a 'Hardware Abstraction Layer' to an EW/SIGNIT System
• Develop a central service to take requests and translate to necessary HW handlers
• Develop handlers for interfacing with individual HW components
• Integrate CMOSS compliance

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Development Experience
• DSP/EW/SDRs
• DevSecOps (Containers/Docker/Kubernetes/Ansible)
• GPU/CUDA Development
• Automated Unit/Integration Testing
• BIT/Diagnostics (specifically using the VITA 46.11 standard)
• Experience integrating with RF HW Components (No FW or FPGA development)
• Experience/Knowledge with government standards (MORA/Victory/VITA 49)
