As a Technical Functional Analyst you will play a pivotal role in managing, defining, and communicating the capabilities that drive engaging digital experiences. We are seeking a passionate, customer-centric marketing technology analyst who thrives at the intersection of marketing and technology. You will immerse yourself in our portfolio of digital marketing platforms and lead the charge in driving innovative solutioning & delivery across MetLife's digital properties.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with business partners and global stakeholders to define and manage the technical capabilities required to drive marketing enablement.
  • Translate business requirements into specific technology requirements and user stories for the development team.
  • Serve as the interface between technology and business partner teams to ensure accurate delivery of solutions.
  • Author business cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for seamless implementation by the development team.
  • Communicate effectively with product owners to provide insights into existing toolset features for reuse and identify overlap of capabilities across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technology or business discipline.
  • 1 - 2+ years of experience or exposure to software engineering and/or marketing technology (related intern or co-op experience can be applicable).
  • 1 - 2+ years of experience or exposure in business analysis and the development of use case & requirement definitions (related intern or co-op experience can be applicable).

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment with matrixed organizational management.
  • Experience in a consulting space or industry preferred.
  • 1-2+ years of experience focused in one or more of the following Marketing Technology domains: Web Experience Management, Campaign Management, E-commerce, Testing & Optimization, or Data Management.
  • Ability to steer communications to reflect the benefits of project initiatives and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Experience integrating marketing applications with other enterprise applications, as well as internal and external data sources.
  • Start-up mindset, with a lean towards action and test & learn practices.
