About the position

The General Manager at Wingstop is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing both front and back-of-house teams. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on operational excellence, and the ability to develop and mentor team members. The General Manager works closely with the District Manager to achieve business goals and maintain high standards of service and food quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant in partnership with the District Manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service and manage front and back-of-house teams.
• Recruit, select, orient, and train team members.
• Manage performance through coaching, counseling, and discipline of team members.
• Communicate job expectations and review employee performance.
• Perform regular restaurant inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Track inventory and maintain accurate record keeping.
• Resolve issues with food preparation and customer service.
• Maintain a safe and healthy facility environment by enforcing sanitation standards.
• Identify maintenance problems and communicate with the Facilities Department.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of previous food service or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Food Handler Certification required (can be obtained during onboarding).
• Experience using a computer and register (POS) system.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish speaking is a plus.
