About the position

The Golf Shop Attendant at Quail West is a seasonal role focused on providing exceptional customer service to members and their guests within a prestigious private golf and country club. The position involves learning all aspects of the golf operation, promoting facility programs, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace while ensuring a positive experience for all members.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit the highest level of customer service to our members and their guests.
• Promote the facility programs, events, and image to the membership.
• Communicate in a professional manner and tone with fellow staff across all departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Relay important information to management staff including member/guest issues, work equipment not functioning properly, or staff misconduct.
• Proactively manage daily workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Study the tournament/event calendar to communicate details with Members/Guests.
• Record inventory for the shop and work with merchandisers to rearrange the golf shop.
• Assist in tournament operations.
• Manage the Foretees Online Tee Time System.

Requirements

• Customer service experience and/or experience in the golf industry preferred.
• Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines.
• Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of the golf business preferred.
• Experience with point of sale and tee time reservation system a plus.
