We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing entrees and hot appetizers, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation for our patrons.
Responsibilities
Broil and grill food in quantities according to the menu and number of patrons to be served in a timely manner.
Maintain work area and cooking equipment in proper and sanitary order.
Prepare and plate food to order in accordance with approved recipes.
Cover, date, label, and store food items and ingredients during the scheduled shift.
Determine and establish the specified degree of doneness (i.e., rare, medium rare, etc.) for all cooked items.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
