About the position

The Groundsperson position at SavATree involves working as part of the General Tree Care Team, responsible for providing high-quality tree care services. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and expertise in tree care practices, including climbing and pruning, while ensuring the health and well-being of clients' landscapes. Team members will have the opportunity to work outdoors and visit various properties in the community, contributing to the preservation of beautiful green spaces.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively on a General Tree Care crew to provide high-quality tree care services.
• Perform tree pruning, removals, and cable bracing as part of tree care operations.
• Safely operate equipment and perform assigned job tasks while delivering excellent service to clients.
• Apply expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety to maintain the health of clients' landscapes.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and understand their characteristics.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License; CDL is a plus.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
