About the position

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our hospitality team at [Restaurant Name]. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and manage reservations and seating arrangements.
  • Manage guest flow by efficiently seating and serving guests in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional guest services, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders and serving guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the front desk and host stand.
  • Use Aloha POS to manage orders and communicate with kitchen staff.
  • Offer help and support to guests, including answering questions about the menu and making recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, including those staying at the hotel.
  • Utilize guest relations skills to handle any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel setting, preferably in a host/host or guest services role.
  • Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service and handling guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Familiarity with food service operations and POS systems, including Aloha POS.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a focus on providing a positive guest experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and support other staff members as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hospitality experience, including experience in a restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Knowledge of guest services and relations.
