About the position

The Housekeeper at Homewood Suites Dallas/Allen Texas is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel. This role involves following company procedures for cleaning, preparing guest rooms, and ensuring a pleasant experience for guests through friendly interactions and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, hallways, and public areas according to company and brand standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties such as stocking supplies and setting up housekeeping carts.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as bed making and bathroom cleaning.
• Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies.
• Conduct deep cleaning activities in conjunction with the maintenance department.
• Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling.
• Report maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisor or manager.
• Complete any special requests made by guests or other departments.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand/walk the entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Flexible schedule with availability for days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
