This is a grant-funded training program designed to equip participants with the essential concepts and skills needed to function as Community Health Workers (CHWs). The program aims to bridge the gap between healthcare, social services, and the community, ensuring that individuals gain timely access to quality health care and specialized support services. Participants will receive the necessary credit hours to apply for CHW licensure in Oregon upon completion. The program includes both online classroom training and on-site hands-on internship/externship training.
