About the position

Ability360 is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to individuals with disabilities. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring they maintain independence and dignity in their homes. Caregivers will receive comprehensive training and have opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and assistance with meals.
• Assist with light housekeeping and personal hygiene.
• Help clients with errands and accompany them to appointments.
• Support clients with transfers and other daily living activities.
• Offer companionship and socialization to clients.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required.
• Ability to provide three references.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Negative TB test required.
• Two forms of identification needed.
• Must pass all Caregiver Training Competency Evaluations.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish language skills preferred.
• First Aid Certification (Preferred).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card (Preferred).
• CPR Certification (Preferred).
