About the position

Tomo Japanese Mart is seeking a Kitchen Helper to assist in daily kitchen operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting chefs, and ensuring food preparation meets quality standards. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, including night shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use.
• Support chefs in plating and serving dishes during busy hours.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of restaurant kitchen experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
