About the position

The Landscape Gardener is responsible for the maintenance of commercial landscapes, ensuring high-quality work and customer service. This role involves various landscaping tasks and the safe operation of equipment, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain job site as instructed by Foreman.
• Perform tasks such as mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning.
• Safely operate landscaping equipment including mowers, power hedge shears, and backpack blowers.
• Identify plants and perform basic hand pruning skills.
• Adhere to Monarch Safety Policy while operating vehicles and equipment.
• Follow company dress code and attendance policies.
• Complete all tasks within time expectations and report any issues to the Foreman.

Requirements

• Commercial landscape experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and Foreman.
• Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
