LATAM Senior Software Engineer (React & .NET)

About the position

At Praxent, we are changing the world of financial services by helping clients modernize outdated customer-facing software applications. Our team of 130+ professionals, located throughout the United States and Central/South America, provides a supportive and autonomous work environment. This remote position allows you to work from a location of your choice, provided it is identified to the company. Your mission will be to enhance the team's capacity to deliver assigned stories by the end of the sprint, develop software features, and collaborate effectively with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the team’s capacity to deliver assigned stories by end of sprint.
• Develop software features for relatively complex features with the support of more senior engineers during AgileDev engagements.
• Address defects and enhancement requests.
• Participate in successful Agile delivery by seeking guidance, raising concerns, and advancing best practices.
• Demonstrate competency at building attractive user interfaces, building data driven REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders during sprint planning to finalize and document technical approach with user stories as subtasks.
• Track daily progress, limit team’s QA kickback, and deliver stories as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience with at least two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data driven REST APIs, administering databases/cloud/servers.
• 5-8+ years professional experience in relevant technology and projects.
• Experience in building interactive and responsive user interfaces using front end technologies such as React, React.JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience in building .NET applications (Nice to have).
• Expertise in designing and implementing server-side applications using ASP.NET Core and C#, focusing on creating secure, efficient RESTful APIs.
• Experience collaborating with client stakeholders during sprint planning and documenting technical approaches.
• Understanding and articulating the business outcomes that development projects impact.
