About the position

The purpose of this position is to support clients with their life to include health and personal cares, therapeutic, educational, recreational, and leisure activities for individuals with special needs to achieve maximum growth and learning as they make transitions throughout life. Provides guidance, coaching and mentors to Direct Service Professional staff on their assigned shift, solves issues and needs of both the clientele and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients with health and personal cares.
  • Facilitate therapeutic, educational, recreational, and leisure activities.
  • Guide and mentor Direct Service Professional staff.
  • Address issues and needs of clientele and staff.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience in health care field.
  • DD module completion.
  • Valid ND Driver’s License.
  • Reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to learn and perform personal care, education and therapeutic programs.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend medical terminology.
