As a Lead Quality Test Engineer, you will work closely with Product, Technology, and Engineering partners globally. Your role will involve collaborating with program, product, and engineering peers to align technology outcomes with prioritized initiatives. You will mentor and help develop technical talent within multiple engineering squads, ensuring that solutions delivered meet Nike Inc. technology standards. Your responsibilities will include leveraging existing testing infrastructure for automated testing of new web applications and their integrations, participating in the design and creation of scalable software, and testing the front-end of applications using the latest automation methodologies. You will also develop and manage regression test suites, test APIs and integrations, and ensure software responsiveness and efficiency using performance testing tools.

  • Lead the technical design and development of efficient, reusable, secure, and resilient technology solutions for automation and regression testing.
  • Lead a team of engineers and support product testing, automation testing, integration testing, regression/performance testing, and end-to-end process automation.
  • Innovate and deliver high-quality code, sharing best practices and making critical technical design choices.
  • Help coach the team to innovate, design, build, test, deploy, and maintain sustainable technology.
  • Collaborate with the product manager to develop project plans, estimates, and resource allocation.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
  • Enable cross-team collaboration across software engineering teams by supporting communities of practices for specialized technical areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6 to 8 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies.
  • Experience with automation tools like Worksoft Certify, IBIS, SAP Solman, SAP BPCA, Selenium, Nightwatch, Cucumber, and Nightwatch-Newman.
  • Experience with Open Search, Postman API, Kafka, and NSP.
  • Familiarity with IDEs such as Eclipse or Visual Studio.
  • Experience with JIRA or Version One, GIT, and AWS Lambda.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins/BMX.
  • DB proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC & SAP BW/HANA business processes for automation and regression testing.
  • Strong Agile practice experience with Scrum and DevOps.
  • Deep understanding and practical application of modern build, continuous integration, and testing strategies.
  • Experience in coding with Python, JavaScript, and Node.js.
