May Mobility is transforming cities through autonomous technology to create a safer, greener, more accessible world. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, May develops and deploys autonomous vehicles (AVs) powered by our innovative Multi-Policy Decision Making (MPDM) technology that literally reimagines the way AVs think. Our vehicles do more than just drive themselves - they provide value to communities, bridge public transit gaps and move people where they need to go safely, easily and with a lot more fun. We're building the world's best autonomy system to reimagine transit by minimizing congestion, expanding access and encouraging better land use in order to foster more green, vibrant and livable spaces. Since our founding in 2017, we've given more than 300,000 autonomy-enabled rides to real people around the globe. And we're just getting started. We're hiring people who share our passion for building the future, today, solving real-world problems and seeing the impact of their work. Join us.

  • Build and own global data pipelines collecting data from our vehicles and business operations to empower and scale our ability to deliver autonomous driving products
  • Apply modern streaming and distributed architectures to reduce dependency on legacy batch operations
  • Make these data pipelines simple to deploy and operate, using modern declarative practices and state of the art observability tooling
  • Blend on-premises and cloud-based architectures that can adapt to multiple regions around the world as we expand our global presence, while balancing performance with expense
  • Collaborate with machine learning teams to empower them to achieve their goals, curating, indexing, and automating management of datasets
  • Work with autonomy teams to continuously improve how we write, transform, and aggregate data on the vehicle at the edge to make sure we can extract the most important data as we scale
  • Demonstrate best practices of cloud software architectures and set technical standards for others throughout the organization to follow
  • Integrate systems with third parties to facilitate bi-directional data sharing with our partners
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for critical services
  • And any additional tasks as required by your manager
