We are seeking a creative, innovative, and enthusiastic individual to join our design team as a UI/UX Designer. As a UI/UX designer, you will be responsible for researching, planning, and designing new interfaces for our web, and mobile applications. This is an excellent opportunity for recent grads (3-4 years out of school at the most) in college who are passionate about designing the future of education. You will be leading our design team which is currently just 1 designer, and interface directly with our CEO on a daily basis.

  • Collaborate with CEO, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and project requirements.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
  • Ensure consistency in design language, branding, and user experience across all platforms and features.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of designs, providing support and clarification as needed.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and design critiques to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of design systems, pattern libraries, and documentation.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the design process, championing user-centric design principles and accessibility standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing projects related to UI/UX design, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices in UI/UX design.
  • Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approach.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for basic prototyping and communication with developers (this is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
