Alchemy is looking for a Line Cook to join our team! Alchemy is a vibrant, chef-driven restaurant known for bold flavors, inventive dishes, and an energetic dining experience. Located in MarketStreet Lynnfield, we are part of the Serenitee Restaurant Group—a collective of celebrated North Shore destinations dedicated to hospitality, creativity, and local sourcing. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Alchemy’s recipes and high-quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
- Work alongside the team to ensure consistent quality, portioning, and plating
- Follow ServSafe and food safety guidelines
- Assist with prep, cleaning, and restocking as needed
- Communicate effectively with chefs, teammates, and front-of-house staff
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Open availability preferred (weekends and evenings required)
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
