About the position

Work closely with head of division to manage the strategic planning, execution and optimisation of events and marketing communications across rest of world (RoW) ICS service lines and jurisdictions. This role is responsible for enhancing brand visibility, driving external engagement and delivering measurable commercial impact through high-quality campaigns, events and project delivery. The role will also provide support for both external and internal communications for new product launches, jurisdictions and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual ICS events strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and jurisdictional focus areas.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of high-profile events, including webinars, seminars, sponsorships, conferences and networking events.
  • Evaluate event performance using KPIs such as attendance, engagement and ROI, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Work with the wider ICS team to create marketing communications across digital and print channels, ensuring consistency with brand and tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop marketing collateral that supports business development objectives.
  • Manage external event communications and initiatives for special projects to promote ICS.
  • Work closely with content team to ensure collaboration to promote content pre and post event.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of strategic marketing projects for ICS such as brand refreshes, intermediary programmes, and sponsorship activations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks and ensure alignment with broader marketing and business goals.
  • Own and manage the RoW ICS marketing budget, ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and reinvestment to support future initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on budget status and ROI.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders across for RoW ICS BD team.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, suppliers and event organisers.
  • Represent the marketing function, particularly the events, in jurisdictional planning meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing and event management at a strategic level in a professional or financial services environment.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Budget management and commercial acumen.
  • Leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g. CRM systems, email marketing tools and design tools).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
