About the position

The Marketing & Social Media Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of marketing programs to increase engagement and sales. To grow and build a responsible career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for enhancing and increasing brand following on social media platforms and ensuring brand consistency. You will develop the company’s social media calendar and content creation, as well as original content to promote Wesco Turf/Hector Turf in both internal and external communications. Additionally, you will develop KPIs to measure the success of programs, research and adapt to emerging digital and social communication strategies and technologies, and participate in brainstorming creative and promotional content in planning sessions. You will work with colleagues to create fun and engaging events for employees and customers, leverage our success to find ways to improve engagement, help manage events through the eyes of a social media coordinator, prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics, assist in creating content that optimizes SEO, and monitor and report on competitor marketing trends. You will also assist the Director of Parts Marketing in the execution of all marketing programs.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a related field experience.
  • Must have a passion for all things social.
  • Requires the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner to all customers as well as fellow employees.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and peers.
  • Social Media, Web, Public relations, and communications skills.
  • Creative mind and think outside of the box.
