About the position

Roseman University seeks a dynamic, creative, organized, passionate Marketer who wishes to grow their skills in Higher Education Marketing and Branding. The Marketing Assistant will be part of a Team that builds, evolves, and maintains the Roseman University Brand, drives patient and student recruitment, monitors environmental trends, and liaises with cross-functional teams, University faculty and staff, Vendors, Agency, students and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with VP and Director of Marketing to create successful multi-channel advertising and brand campaigns that differentiate the University, drive awareness and interest, create preference, and deliver revenue.
  • Support Marketing Team in tracking, maintaining, and managing deadlines and deliverables of all marketing campaigns and tactics.
  • Represent the University as the key interface between the University and Media Partners.
  • Support the Recruitment Team, traveling to Recruiting events regionally, overseeing Brand presence at events, speaking with prospects, and feeding the top of the funnel.
  • Maintain brand standards and push the limits of creativity and engagement with impactful event presentations.
  • Contribute to maintaining and tracking a complex budget, with high levels of integrity and organization.
  • Attend other events as needed - organizing meals, developing invitations, tracking attendance, greeting guests, reserving rooms, etc.
  • Document event details and maintain organized meeting notes, including action items, decisions, and follow-ups, to ensure alignment and continuity across the team.
  • Analyze data, gather relevant industry and program statistics, and manage documents.
  • Organize, update and vet regularly digital filing cabinets to be sure all assets are continually updated and accessible.
  • Reliable and timely with an expectation of 40+ hours per week.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Digital Marketing knowledge - (SEO, PPC, WordPress, Paid Search etc.) as well as Social Media Advertising knowledge and expertise (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Email Marketing interest - contribute to writing, design, and executing email marketing campaigns and monitor results.
  • Detail-Oriented and Organized: On this team, this role will help keep assets together and organized and help keep others on track.
  • Social/Affable: Ability to build rapport with patient and student recruitment/ admissions units and Agency.
  • Passionate About Marketing: Knowledge of the industry and desire to learn and grow.
  • Critical thinking: learns constantly and applies learning to new scenarios, can use deduction when the answer is not provided to them.
  • Self-starter: Used to independence but likes to work in a team-setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity: Ability to imagine what is not there, to solve problems, and to take a seed of an idea and grow it into something powerful.
  • Analytical: Involves research, fluency with sourcing and presenting of data, and ability to notice quantitative and qualitative trends.
  • Project management: Ability to organize details and complete projects in a timely manner.
