About the position

Group Management Services (GMS) is looking for an ambitious self starter within the expanding IT division to be our newest Marketing Automation Strategist. The role involves building and managing email campaigns, nurturing streams, and engagement programs using Pardot, with a focus on accelerating time-to-campaign and improving engagement metrics. The strategist will collaborate with sales to align campaign strategy with lead follow-up workflows, analyze campaign performance metrics, maintain data hygiene, and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations. Additionally, the role includes auditing and optimizing the marketing automation infrastructure, implementing lead scoring, building campaign attribution dashboards, and educating sales reps on Pardot and engagement history. The strategist will also mentor other marketers and perform all other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage email campaigns, nurture streams, and engagement programs using Pardot.
  • Collaborate with sales to align campaign strategy with lead follow-up workflows.
  • Analyze campaigns performance metrics and implement data-driven optimizations.
  • Maintain data hygiene and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations.
  • Regularly audit and optimize the marketing automation infrastructure.
  • Implement and refine lead scoring and grading modules.
  • Build and maintain campaign attribution dashboards using Salesforce.
  • Develop and execute segmentation strategies for targeted outreach.
  • Help educate sales reps on Pardot and engagement history.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across internal Salesforce CRM and other GMS business units.
  • Mentor other marketers to improve campaign performance and platform utilization.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Communication or related field.
  • 2-4 years related experience required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted.
  • Valid driver's license required; occasional travel is required with minimum overnight stays when necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce Certified Pardot Specialist preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Consultant preferred.
