About the position

AleSmith Brewing Company is dedicated to creating the world’s highest quality beer, while promoting an understanding and appreciation of craft beer and its styles and traditions to those we faithfully call our customers. Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator supports AleSmith’s marketing efforts by creating and coordinating content across multiple digital channels, building a social media calendar, and driving community engagement. This role also assists in Tasting Room and Retail operations, including webstore management, email campaigns, digital asset upkeep, and analytics tracking. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about craft beer, with experience in social media, email marketing, and event promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and schedule engaging content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Write captions that align with the brand’s voice and produce photography, videos, and graphics.
  • Respond to social media comments, messages, and engage with followers to build brand relationships and positive sentiment.
  • Support influencer marketing efforts by sourcing influencers, managing product shipments, and assisting with hosting influencers at the Tasting Room.
  • Stay informed about digital trends, social media features, and emerging technologies, integrating them into the brand’s marketing strategies.
  • Assist in creating email and SMS campaigns via Klaviyo and Toast.
  • Monitor campaign performance, optimize audience segmentation, and help craft compelling messaging.
  • Support website updates including Tasting Room calendar, web sliders, and product pages on Shopify and WordPress.
  • Help create and manage events on Eventbrite, such as watch parties, beer releases, and special promotions.
  • Provide the Retail and Tasting Room teams with the tools and assets they need to promote products and campaigns.
  • Assist with graphic design requests for promotional materials, signage, and other marketing needs.
  • Participate in major beer festivals and off-site events as a brand ambassador, supporting event activations.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, events, social media or related field.
  • Experience in the craft beer, beverage, or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and content creation.
  • Photo/Video creation and editing skills necessary.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) and basic graphic design tools (Adobe Suite a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
  • Passion for craft beer and the community surrounding it.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for event materials and setup.
