About the position

Mission Lane is seeking a results-focused Marketing Designer to lead key acquisition and growth focused design initiatives. This is a remote, 3 month contract opportunity supporting marketing and product expansion efforts. You’ll take the design lead on a range of initiatives that drive conversion, enhance storytelling, and build scalable systems to support growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and launch new landing pages for credit card products
  • Refresh landing pages to reflect new product lines with a more differentiated and creative brand presence
  • Develop modular templates that allow for future scalability
  • Provide creative support for ongoing product launches and refinements including ads, direct mail, and more
  • Lead creative direction and asset design for digital marketing campaigns
  • Create static display ads and paid social creative
  • Partner with the performance marketing team to test and optimize assets
  • Define and document marketing-specific visual guidelines including illustration and photography styles, templates and layouts for ads and landing pages, color usage in marketing contexts, and overall visual tone and direction for marketing efforts

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in brand and marketing design
  • Collaborative approach to working with marketing, product and engineering
  • Experience building scalable design systems and templates
  • Proficiency in Figma; familiarity with illustration or 3D rendering tools (e.g., Spline, Blender) is a plus
  • Copywriting ability and instincts (and/or ability to leverage modern copywriting tools and workflows)
  • Ability to create scalable templates and systems
  • Collaborative with marketers, writers, and developers
  • Performance-minded creativity: understands design for conversion as well as brand storytelling
