About the position

As a Marketing Development Representative (MDR) at TriNet, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, representing a trusted leader in comprehensive HR solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. In this role, you will demonstrate the ability to confidently speak with inbound prospects, about TriNet's PEO and ASO solutions, effectively tailoring messaging to align with the prospect's business needs and guiding them to the most suitable offering.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret marketing campaign information to determine how to communicate with prospects through structured outbound outreach, such as sales flows and calls.
  • Engage with key business leaders and C-level executives, effectively communicating TriNet’s value and services.
  • Conduct diagnostic discovery Teams meetings with prospects to uncover business needs, challenges and goals.
  • Communicate with website visitors who engage with our live chat service, as well as facilitating calls received on our sales line, identifying potential sales inquiries and qualifying leads in real time.
  • Effectively manage and maintain your calendar to ensure accurate availability for diagnostic calls and other required scheduled meetings.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to accurately document prospect information and interactions to convert qualified leads to opportunities for sales and to ensure effective pipeline management.
  • Communicate proactively with sales consultants and managers to relay information regarding qualified meeting opportunities and coordinate scheduling.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues as needed, to discuss prospect details, or gather and/or clarify information to assist with finalizing meeting data.
  • Redirect current client and non-sales related inquiries, received via the sales line, chat or any other marketing channels, to the right internal teams or resources.
  • Stay abreast of all MDR sales related information, as well as all MDR procedures and policies.
  • Assist in the development of email, and other marketing and sales programs that relate to marketing development and marketing/sales requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Typically 1+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Articulate and persuasive written and oral communicator.
  • Seeks out, internalizes, and applies coaching feedback.
  • Great active-listening skills.
  • Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Experience using a CRM; Salesforce preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member.
