As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and business development strategies that enhance GOLDLAW's visibility, participating in seminars, fostering community relationships, and driving client engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in mass media, digital advertising, and event management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with businesses, organizations, and influencers to expand the firm’s reach and client base.
  • Continuously evaluate marketing channels and tactics to maximize qualified lead generation.
  • Collaborate with partners on co-branded initiatives, events, and marketing campaigns that benefit both parties.
  • Develop and introduce marketing goals to the entire firm and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Oversee the firm’s mass media outreach, including press releases, media relations, and public appearances.
  • Manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Spearhead business development initiatives to expand GOLDLAW's client base and revenue.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential referral partners, including medical professionals, law firms, legal industry vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s legal teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling legal services to existing clients.
  • Foster relationships with local organizations and charities to enhance community engagement.
  • Develop initiatives that promote the firm’s commitment to social responsibility and community support.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies that engage clients and prospects.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, traditional advertising, and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Marketing & Brand Experience Officer to identify target audiences, refine messaging, and optimize marketing campaigns for maximum impact and ROI.
  • Monitor social media channels and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and engagement.
  • Plan and execute seminars, webinars, and networking events that promote the firm’s expertise and services.
  • Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities that align with the firm’s brand and community involvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in marketing preferred.
  • At least five years’ experience as a law firm marketing director/manager or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Successful experience in hiring, training and managing a marketing team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working and communicating with others.
  • Skilled at time management and prioritizing workflow to meet deadlines, reduce interruptions and solve problems.
  • Analytical, strategic thinker with strong project management skills.
  • Provide exceptional client service.
  • Knowledge of Florida Bar advertising rules and restrictions (preferred).
  • Ability to attend events outside the office and sometimes after hours.
  • Experience using industry-standard marketing technology and software.

  • Marketers with agency experience encouraged to apply.

  • Experience with video filming, editing and all production aspects, including YouTube Studio.
  • Experience with webmaster tools and content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience with MOZ or similar SEO tools.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (CS6).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Facebook and LinkedIn ad campaign builders and analytics.
  • Experience with social publishing platforms (i.e., Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer, Adobe Social).
  • Experience with Rentrak StationView Essentials.
  • Experience with third-party programmatic demand side platforms (i.e., Centro).
