StorageAuctions.com is a leading online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of storage units. We provide a dynamic platform for auctions, offering a wide range of items and opportunities. We're seeking a passionate and data-driven Marketing Manager to accelerate our bidder acquisition and conversion efforts, driving growth and maximizing auction success. As the Marketing Manager, Bidder Acquisition & Conversion, you will be instrumental in optimizing our bidder lifecycle, from initial engagement to repeat winning bidder, with a strong emphasis on retargeting and nurturing strategies to maximize bidder lifetime value (LTV). You will leverage retargeting, nurturing, and SEO strategies to maximize bidder conversion metrics, including sign-ups, conversion to winning bidders, and average sales price. Your expertise in consumer marketplace dynamics, particularly in repeat consumer retargeting, will be critical to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive retargeting campaigns across various channels (e.g., display, social, text, and email) to re-engage potential bidders and drive conversions.
  • Design and implement effective email nurturing sequences to guide bidders through the auction process and foster repeat participation.
  • Analyze retargeting and nurturing performance, providing actionable insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Utilize CRM data to segment users and create personalized marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on bidder persona development, positioning and messaging strategy.
  • Develop and implement a robust SEO strategy to enhance organic visibility and drive relevant traffic to StorageAuctions.com.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and optimize engaging, SEO-friendly content for the website, blog, and other platforms.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance, tracking key metrics and identifying areas for optimization.
  • Analyze bidder behavior and identify key conversion bottlenecks across the auction lifecycle.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve bidder sign-up rates, conversion to winning bidders, and average sales price.
  • Collaborate with the product and operations teams to enhance the bidder experience and streamline the auction process.
  • Develop and monitor dashboards to track key performance indicators.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies responsible for paid media campaigns.
  • Provide strategic direction and ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize spend to maximize ROI.
  • Manage paid media budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on consumer marketplace environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related professional experience.
  • B2C Marketing experience in an e-commerce and marketplace environment.
  • Proven track record of driving bidder acquisition and conversion metrics.
  • Strong expertise in retargeting, nurturing, and SEO strategies.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta).
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns and working with external agencies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with consumer marketplace platforms is highly desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
