Jabil Defense & Aerospace is seeking an experience Marketing Manager to work in St. Petersburg, FL. As the Marketing Manager for Jabil Defense & Aerospace, you will partner closely with divisional leaders and business development to create & execute marketing strategies that support global growth. Preference for defense & aerospace domain expertise with a B2B product or service category that has complex, long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute approach for gathering market intelligence used for strategic planning - including industry, technology, competitor and customer data & trends.
  • Develop marketing strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements to successfully enable sales and business development teams.
  • Work with business leaders and technology teams to develop benefits-led value propositions and messaging across defense & aerospace markets.
  • Implement messaging and positioning through the delivery of an integrated marketing strategy and implementation of plan - including sales materials, events, digital, web, public relations and social media.
  • Develop & manage annual events and tradeshow calendar - including booth design, messaging, collateral, and lead up marketing efforts.
  • Support the development, revision, and timely submission of customer proposals and point of sale materials.
  • Develop and execute a divisional internal communications plan working with divisional leader and HR - including town halls, events, content libraries, ad hoc communications etc.
  • Work with internal corporate creative services team and manage outside vendors working on branding, copy writing, graphic design, content development, website, SEO, awareness, email campaign etc.
  • Monitor and measure results of marketing programs and ROI, use data to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, develop recommendations and convert recommendations into increased effectiveness.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of interpersonal, project management and communications skills in addition to applied experience of marketing principles, sales methodology, and content management.
  • Requires an understanding and usage of process, procedure, and systems that will continuously improve sales and marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Portfolio of experience should include managing external agencies and internal resources to achieve success in these areas: brand awareness, web strategy, content management, e-communications programs, product and solution launch programs; public, media and analyst relations; thought leadership; company image and product visibility; strategic thinking and tactical excellence; events and conferences; and third party, user groups, etc.
  • Strong event management experience and skillset.
  • Experience in leading, managing and prioritizing a variety of programs and projects.
  • Must understand the balance between global direction and local execution and how to make things happen with executives, team members and agencies in multiple locations around the world.
  • Proven skill in successfully positioning and differentiating various products and services to a wide range of targeted end users worldwide.
  • Proven ability as an articulate and persuasive communicator with strong verbal & written communication skills, as well as strong relationship-building and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite and marketing tools and techniques (e.g. LinkedIn, Hub Spot, blogs, podcasts). Also, proficiency in sales outreach tools and resources.
  • Extensive knowledge of interactive and creative marketing assets and programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to interview, extract, assimilate and present information.
  • Proven track record of teaming with sales organizations and adding value to the sales process.
  • Proven global strategic and tactical marketing success.
  • Creativity in defining traditional and new media marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, and often ambiguous/fast-changing environment.
  • Team-oriented individuals with proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.
