About the position

The Marketing Manager is key to optimizing the effectiveness of the Marketing Department in relationship to MG Properties portfolio. This position will be hybrid requiring 3-days at the office and 2-days remote. The Marketing Manager leverages their understanding of the market landscape to support, guide, and provide feedback on the execution of the integrated marketing programs for each property. In addition, this position reviews and analyzes the performance metrics and reports ROI on marketing campaigns and provides creative solutions for programs not meeting expectations. Self-driven and a critical thinker, the Marketing Manager duties include proactive reporting, adjusting, and analyzing portfolio and asset marketing performance relative to budget and benchmarks/factors; maintaining close relationships with various departments to ensure reporting is holistic; and follow through and adjusting marketing spend based on budget and data in a timely manner. The Marketing Manager should be able to identify regional, national, and market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the effectiveness of the Marketing Department in relation to MG Properties portfolio.
  • Support, guide, and provide feedback on the execution of integrated marketing programs for each property.
  • Review and analyze performance metrics and report ROI on marketing campaigns.
  • Provide creative solutions for programs not meeting expectations.
  • Proactively report, adjust, and analyze portfolio and asset marketing performance relative to budget and benchmarks.
  • Maintain close relationships with various departments to ensure holistic reporting.
  • Adjust marketing spend based on budget and data in a timely manner.
  • Identify regional, national, and market trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing (multifamily, hospitality, and commercial real estate industry preferred).
  • 1-3 years of sales experience highly desirable.
  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience required.
  • Experience with leading teams and representing Marketing and Operations in larger meetings highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate in person, telephone, and other communications tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as strong editing and proofing skills.
  • Client presentations and communications experience are highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to travel and establish in-person rapport with on-site teams and Regional Managers.
  • 1-2 years of experience with SEO, PPC (Google ads), and website development.
  • Analytical with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel and Business Intelligence software.
  • Proficiency using project and workflow management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Percolate, Basecamp).
  • Professional presence with ability to lead meetings, provide recommendations, collaborate, and build rapport.
  • Service-oriented work style.
  • Personable, and capable of building relationships across the company with all departments and employees.
