About the position

This is a great experience for someone who has a mixture of creative and administrative skills, enjoys helping people, and is looking to grow professionally. This is part-time position that will complete a wide variety of tasks in support of the Marketing and Promotions Department. The position is about 60% administrative and 40% promotional content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Updating and maintaining the marketing databases and statistics
  • Data input
  • Sending regular promotional and informational emails
  • Processing promotional content for delivery
  • Creating promotions within our offices
  • Implementing regular website content updates (such as our weekly blog) and creating and posting social media content
  • Assisting the Marketing and Promotions Manager and VPPR with various projects that support the department

Requirements

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and hard-working individual with experience in administrative duties and creative projects
  • Looking to gain marketing & promotions and administrative experience
  • Genuine desire to serve people, as this is the focus of our business
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Specifically Word and Excel)
  • Must be familiar with Wordpress
  • Experienced in using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Canva for design
  • Knowledge and experience with photography and videography preferred
  • Strong writing ability required
  • Social Media knowledge preferred
  • Foundational web development skills
  • Innovative and intuitive problem solver and is quick and accurate with administrative tasks
  • Must possess a great eye for detail and able to multitask well
  • Must be able to work well both independently and with a team
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred, but not required
  • Previous design experience is required
