About the position

We are seeking a driven and creative Marketing & Customer Support Specialist to join our team at a well-established auto mechanic shop in Winston-Salem, NC. This dual role focuses primarily on developing and executing marketing initiatives to attract new customers and enhance brand awareness, while also providing exceptional customer support to ensure a positive experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote services and attract customers.
  • Distribute flyers and promotional materials at strategic locations around Winston-Salem.
  • Explore new, grassroots methods to boost brand visibility, including local partnerships, event sponsorships, and community engagement.
  • Manage social media channels, create content, and monitor engagement to build our online presence.
  • Track and analyze campaign results, using data to refine and improve marketing efforts.
  • Brainstorm and execute new ideas to connect with local audiences in authentic and creative ways.
  • Provide friendly, professional support to customers, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues, ensuring a positive experience with our shop.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, both in person and on the phone, to retain loyal customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in small business or automotive industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and multitask effectively.
  • Comfort with distributing flyers and representing the shop in the community.
  • High level of initiative, adaptability, and willingness to try new approaches.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; OR a proven track record of driving sales growth in a customer-focused or small business setting.
  • Outgoing, goal-oriented, and not intimidated by ambitious targets and quotas.
  • Strong ability to engage potential customers, generate leads, and foster customer relationships.
  • Willingness to make outbound sales calls, conduct in-person sales drops, and consistently pursue new opportunities for business growth.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
